
Artichoke Cheese bread

Ingredients
1 Sourdough Baguette (10 oz)
1 Tbs Butter
1 Garlic Clove minced
1/2 Cup Reduced Fat Sour Cream
1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded
1/2 Cup Monterey Jack Cheese Shredded
1 Can Artichokes (drained & chopped)
1 Tbs Lemon Juice
1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
Salt & Pepper to taste
Preparation
Prep: Preheat oven to 350. Halve baguette legnthwise and scoop out center with fingers, tearing into small peices. Set baguette aside.
Melt butter in skillet over med-low heat. Add bread pieces and garlic. Stir occasionaly for about 5 minutes, cook until golden. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
In large bowl combine browned bread, sour cream, cheddar, Monterey Jack, artichoke and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste and stir together.
Spoon mixture into reserved bread shells and sprinkle parmesan on top. Before putting in the oven, make slits 3/4 of the way through the bread before baking.
Bake about 20-25 minutes or until top is browned. Cool for 5 minutes. Finish cutting and serve.
