Blue Cheese Bacon Wrapped Dates

Ingredients
12 Bacon strips
36 Dates, pitted
2/3 Cup Blue cheese, crumbled
36 Toothpicks
Preparation
Prep: Preheat oven at 375
Soak your toothpicks in water so they don't burn in the oven.
Cut each bacon strip into thirds. In a large skillet, cook bacon until partially done-- but not crisp. Remove to paper towels to drain, keep warm.
Carefully cut a slit in the center of each date and fill with blue cheese. Wrap bacon peice around each date and secure with pre-soaked wooden toothpicks.
Place on un-greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
