Ham & Swiss Crescent Braid

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 Cup Ham, chopped

  • 1 Cup Broccoli florets, chopped

  • 1 Cup Swiss cheese, shredded

  • 4.5 oz (8-10) Mushrooms, chopped

  • 1/2 Cup Mayo

  • 1 Tbsp. Honey mustard

  • 2, 8 oz Cans crescent rolls

  • 1 Egg white, beaten

  • 2 Tbsp. Slivered almonds

Preparation

Prep: Preheat oven to 375. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray. 

Combine ham, broccoli, cheese, mushrooms, mayo and mustard. Mix well and set aside. 


  • Unroll both cans of dough. Place on cookie sheet with long sides together,  form a 15x12 rectangle. Press edges to seal. 


  • Spread ham mixture in 6-inch strip legnthwise down the center of the dough. Make cuts 1 1/2 inches apart along the sides of the dough within 1/2 inch of filling. 


  • Twist each strip once, and lay over the ham. Alternate crossing strips over the filling. 


  • Brush with egg whites and spinkle with almonds. Bake 28-33 minutes until deep golden brown. Cool 5 minutes, then cut into slices to serve.
